This is Brody. She lives in Washington with Kerry and her hubby. Brody was one of our June doodles and she has grown so much! Special Thanks to Kerry for sending us pictures of this lovely girl and for keeping in contact with us. Kerry sent us these wonderful pictures on 11-20-02.
Brody and Kerry visit the pumpkin patch to make their selection for Halloween. The next photo is Brody with her new family. Kerry says Brody is a wonderful girl and they are so happy with her in their lives. We are delighted to know that everyone is happy and doing well. Brodie is apricot.
This is Jordy. Jordy was one of our red, June 2002 male doodles. Jordy was a special boy in this particular litter because he was the only one with a chocolate nose....chocolate pawpads...chocolate eye trim and piercing green eyes. We thank Dean for sending us the great picture below showing what a pro Jordy has become at swimming! He is definitely having fun in the sun in lovely florida.
The fact that Jordy completely loves the water does not, in any way, surprise me! Our golden retrievers LIVE for the water and during the summer, you can't keep them out of it! We actually had to purchase kiddie pools because they were splasing all of their water out of their drinking containers.
The kiddie pools allowed them to play in the water and still have drinking water available. Poodles are known for their retrieving abilities...so, our doodles love every minute of playing in water.
We know this lovely schnauzer is NOT a doodle....but, this happens to be "Charlie"....one of our Miniature Schnauzer pups.
She has a connection to our November doodles because she lives with a special little boy named "Pierce". Pierce received a wonderful Christmas gift from Santa! A lovely solid black doodle named "HART". Charlie now has a doodle for a playmate and Diane reports that they get along exceptionally well.
CLICK HERE to read Diane's comments regarding her purchases.
Diane sent these great pictures on 11-19-02.
This is Brisco with his new family. This was taken on the day Brisco was leaving. He is one of our apricot June doodles. We thank Dawn for sending us a recent update on Brisco and are glad that he is doing well and everyone is having alot of fun with him. You may CLICK HERE to read Dawn's comments.
This is "baby Hicks".....she didn't have a name the day she left on 11-29-02...but we are happy to report that she has been named "Chrissie".
This is Sarah with her new doodle.... Sarah and her new doodle hit it off right away! Both were delighted to meet each other and Sarah was thrilled to take her new puppy back home to Maryland.
Sarah and her mom, Mona, discuss how to properly pick up "Ri.
Baby Hicks plays with her new toy while awaiting her new family to pick her up. She is very cozy on Santa's coat! Chrissie is an apricot doodle.
HEY MOM! LOOK AT ME NOW! Harley Hall was one of our gorgeous, cream, June 2002 doodles who resides in Kentucky. Just look how this beauty has grown!
Mr. Hall reports that Harley has become the BEST family member they could have ever asked for. He HIGHLY RECOMMENDS our kennel for anyone seeking a goldendoodle. Special thanks to Mr. Hall for submitting this great pic of Harley.
Dawn sent us these two lovely pictures of Brisco.....Brisco is apricot & is out of our June 2002 doodles and was six months old in the above pics. Dawn's comments can be read by clicking HERE.
Dawn reports that Brisco is a nice 45 lbs and you can see by these two pictures how nice and fluffy he is.
MY HOW YOU'VE GROWN!!! This is lovely Jordy who will be 1 yr old June 2003.....he is the center pup (dark red) in our June 2002 litter to the left and down below. Jordy was red who has lightened to an apricot. Our only goldendoodle in 2002 to be born with gorgeous green eyes & lovely chocolate nose & HE STILL HAS THEM!
Special Thanks to Carrie for sending these wonderful pictures of Brodie. She's a real go-getter! Brodie now lives in Seattle, Washington and looks like she has hooked up with a good friend at the park! She too, has turned out to be a real looker! Kerry wrote to us on 5-15-03 to say that Brodie now weighs 45 lbs and is 21" tall.....22" tall if you measure her hair!ha Kerry also stated that Brodie is ultra sweet andg gentle! That she is "awesome".
Personally speaking, I have to agree!!!! Brodie is apricot.
"mmmm...snow tastes very good mama!" This very cute picture was sent to us by Dawn who owns Brisco...one of our June 2002, apricot doodles. It is very clear to see that Brisco is nearly the size of a golden retriever at his nearly 8 mos. of age. Brisco will be 1 yr old June 2003. Special thanks to Dawn for this very cute pic!
"GORGEOUS GEORGE".....Jordy with his daddy, in sunny florida....Jordy who was red when he left our kennel has lightened to an apricot and will be 1 yr old June 2003. READ ABOUT JORDY BY CLICKING HERE. Picture submitted by Jordy's mom on 2-8-03.
We thank Valerie for sending us updated photos of Riley.....one of our lovely male, apricot Goldendoodles born to us in Oct. 2002. On 3-19-03, Valerie writes: "Dear Dee, Riley is 5 months old and weighs 53 lbs! What happened to our puppy? He has the greatest personality! Mischievious and spunky but also SO affectionate and cuddly. He has been easy to train and tries to obey...except when a kitty is runny by. He doesn't shed at all! He's easy to maintain....a good hair brushing each day so far. Although he always looks like he is wearing pajamas that need to be ironed...everyone loves him! Sincerely, Valerie, Jim and Sarah
Meet this family of New York. They flew down to select their boy...the only problem was, they loved the pups so much they couldn't resist taking two! Cosmo & Zappa flew to New York with their new mommie & Daddy and you may CLICK HERE to read their comments. Both of these boys are cream colored.
(at this family's request, the faces have been changed and their name has been removed to protect their identity.)
Meet Connie and her lovely boy, Rusty. This lovely doodle was born to us in 2002 and he is an apricot that has lightened to a cream. You may CLICK HERE to read Connie's comments. Rusty will be 1 yr old Nov. 2003.
On May 12, 2003.....Kerry sent us two pics of Lovely Brodie. David...Brodie's daddy...is presently deployed and our prayers are with him to keep him safe! Kerry writes:
"Dee,
Brodie is just wonderful!!! She is the sweetest thing and we just love her so much! My husband is deployed and Brodie is my best friend...she is so loyal to me! I hate to go to work and leave her.
Are you staying busy? Hope all is well!
Kerry
This is David with Brodie. She was born in 2002 and is nearly a year old now. She is an apricot.
Kerry and her husband, David, have been exceptionally great parents to their darling doodle born to our kennel and we thank them alot for keeping in touch and continuing to let us know how our little girl is doing. Brodie has grown quite a bit since leaving us at the age of
8 weeks!
On May 10, 2003.... Diane sent us these lovely pics of "Hart"; He was born to our kennel in Nov. 2002 and was sired by our beautiful solid black Standard Poodle "BLACKIE". Hart is VERY FLUFFY and has turned out to be very beautiful. Diane reports that he is exceptionally sweet and that he and the Miniature Schnauzer, "CHARLIE" she purchased from us just several months before she took HART home, get along really well! Diane reports that Hart is approx. 65 lbs and approx. 26" tall. He is a beautiful solid black boy with a nice thick, wavy coat!

Meet lovely MAY!!!
Special thanks to Mr. Brooks for submitting the lovely picture of May.....born to us in Feb. of 2003.
Mr. Brooks submitted this lovely picture on 6-6-03.
May is a beautiful Apricot Goldendoodle sired by Scisco's kid.
May reminds me alot of RUSTY......born to us in Nov. of 2002 and sired by Blackie. His picture can be viewed up above with his owner, Connie. Many of our Goldendoodles resemble each other due to the fact that our main sire, Scisco, shares common ancestors with our other poodle sires.
Not only do our Standard Poodle sires have shared & common ancestors....but our Golden Retrievers share common ancestors through-out their PEKAY lineage as well. This is how we get consistancy in our Goldendoodle puppies in looks, color & coat even though they have different mothers and fathers. We do not get consistancy in size and height......because puppies can pick up genes from anyone within their lineage on both sides. We NEVER BREED DOODLES TO DOODLES.
Meet Riley with his owner, Sarah....BOTH OF THEM HAVE GROWN since we last saw them!
And they both look happy as ever! Special thanks to Valerie for submitting these updated pictures of Riley HAVING FUN IN THE SUN with Sarah.
Both live in sunny Georgia.
Riley is VERY attractive and has become a beautiful large doodle. He couldn't look happier!
Riley has alot of Golden Retriever coat in him....while it was a bit flatter in the beginning as a younger pup, his coat is now wavy and going in really cute "different directions" with nice waves and handsome smile! Valerie reports that he does NOT shed at all and that he is the CUTEST DOG ALIVE!
I think between Riley and Sarah, both should find themselves in a magazine! They both make a handsome team of models! Riley was born to us in 2002 and is now 1 year old. Valeries says these pics were taken between his 4-6 months of age. Get a load of his cute DOO on the top of his head! He's a lady killer, guys!
Today, on July 1, 2003.....the Brooks family sent this great picture of their happy family!
This is lovely MAY.....as you can see, she is just as happy with her owners as they are with her. You can CLICK HERE to read about May and her owners' comments.
May is one of our red doodle pups born to us in Feb. 2003. She now looks very apricot.
It is not uncommon for our reds to lighten to apricot.....our apricots to lighten to a cream.
Today, on July 1, 2003..... little baby Fritzemeier's owner, now known as LOLA BEAR, sent us this beautiful picture to the far upper right. The picture to the upper left was taken at our home before she left to fly to Kansas.
You can CLICK HERE to read about Lola and read her owners' comments.
Little Lola is a lovely apricot female doodle born to us in April, 2003. She is just as sweet & pretty as can be!
As you can see by comparing the two pictures of Lola, it is not uncommon for our Goldendoodles to lighten in color as they get older. Our cream doodles are always lighter when they are young and our apricot always lighten as they age....but they still carry the apricot on their ears and around about their body.
Today, on July 1, 2003..... Mrs. Crews sent us this great picture of lovely Jordy (upper right) after he got his haircut. Jordy is now 1 year old!!!! The picture to the upper left is at approx. 6 mos. of age and before his haircut....Personally speaking....I love the SHAG LOOK! But Jordy......you are still my special "Gorgeous George!".
You can CLICK HERE to read about Jordy and his owners' comments.
I nearly forgot to include this hilarious photo of our Goldendoodle, Riley, checking out this horse with his owner, Sarah! This is such a funny and cute picture because Riley looks like he is ready to BOLT OUTTA THERE! The horse didn't look too pleased either!
You can CLICK HERE to read about Riley and his owners' comments.
On July 4th weekend, we were happy to greet G.D.'s new owners....two excited little girls from Virginia!!!
Of course we could not leave little LOLA out (my standard Poodle puppy who had been raised with both Joy and Hallie's April litter of Goldendoodles! Little Lola wanted to say good-bye to G.D. as this little fluffy girl was ready to head off to her new home. The Galantich family are very thrilled at having not only their very first dog, but a Goldendoodle at that! We look forward in seeing pictures of G.D. as she grows. She is a very fluffy, sweet and playful girl. Okay GIRLS!!! TAKE GOOD CARE OF HER AND WE HOPE TO SEE PICS OF YOU WITH G.D. SOON!

On July 23, 2003, C. Lamoreuaux sent us this very cute picture of Sonny......one of our goldendoodle babies from our Feb. 6th, 2003 litter. You can CLICK HERE
to read what Sonny's mommy's letter says.
On July 31, 2003 we received this lovely picture of "Phoebe" and her pal. Phoebe
Phoebe at age 8 wks . Picture taken by us before she flew to Pennsylvania with her other siblings.>>>>>>
On Sept. 28, 2003 we received a lovely card from the Houston family in Conn. along with two great pictures of Luke.....one of our April 2003 goldendoodle pups.
She writes:
Hi Dee,
I just wanted to share some recent pictures of our Luke, now 5 months old! As you can plainly see, he is a lovely boy with sweet, expressionable eyes. He loves to run and SWIM (he has his own pool!) but healso loves to be cuddled! Luke is very famous in our neighborhood. I hear, repeatedly, from all different people that he is the cutest dog they have ever seen.
One neighbor calls Luke the "Neighborhood Mascot!". Everyone knows him. People actually come out of their homes to say hello when we go walking by. In fact, having Luke to take for walks has given me the wonderful
and I think PRICELESS opportunity to meet more people in our neighborhood that I probably otherwise never would. Luke had an absolute ZERO percent adjustment period when he first arrived. He never cried, even at night. After an hour or so of sniffing around, he acted like he had lived here all of his life!!!
He is housetrained, ready to begin puppy Kindergarten and always friendly with others we meet on our walks.
EVERYONE...young and old alike....is magnetically drawn to this dog! The first question I always get is "what kind of dog is that???". Don't be surprised if you get alot more calls from North Haven, CT.
Sincerely,
Mimi Houton
Hi Mimi,
Thank you so much for the great pictures! I am thrilled to see how he has grown. I see that you placed his height and weight on the back of the pictures.... at 5 months old, Luke is 44.7 pounds and 21" at the withers. He will most likely grow a few more inches and gain more weight. I would not be surprised to see him become a 55 or 65 pound dog! Luke really reminds me alot of RILEY (He is located on this page). I remember though that Luke had a really fluffy coat when he left! So he has lost some "puppy coat". He will probably get fluffier as he ages...but he could be our second Goldendoodle since 1999 (With Riley being the first) to have more of the Golden Retriever coat on the back with a "spikey" hair-do!!! Too cute! Thanks for keeping in touch and I am glad tohear you are doing well and that Luke is working out to be a real social ice-breaker!!!
12-12-03: Today we received this beautiful Holiday picture/card from the Stringer family.
Kassie (the doodle) is one of our June doodles who now resides in Minnesota with his family and pal, Kyle.
Kassie sent us this very cute story:
"I moved to MN in June. I'm an 8 month old Goldendoodle. (I love the cold weather here, my mom and dad don't.)
Kyle (my smaller 5 year old brother) loves pre-K at Minnehaha Academy. (Kids like me at the bus stop & I was even show and tell one day at school.)
Krystal (the 14 yr old Bichon) still does not like me. (At all!)
I go to obedience class. (Mom says I'll be going until I'm 10.)
I didn't get invited to Arizona for thanksgiving, and I'm pretty sure I'm back at the kennel when Mom, Dad and Kyle go to Palm Springs for Christmas! I hope Santa can come to my house early. (a bone would be nice.)
XXOO Kassie
Cheryl sent us these two great pictures, recently, of Lola Bear....one of our beautiful female Goldendoodles. Lolabear is apricot in color. The first picture is Lola bear having a nap with Cheryl's female Golden Retriever, Gwyneth. The second picture is Lola (to the right) having fun with her doodle friend, Willie. (he is the lightest dog in the picture.) CLICK HERE to read Cheryl's comments. We hope to have WHITE Goldendoodles by 2004! We have been trying to get not only different colors, but lighter shades with our doodles.
On 2-8-04 we received these lovely photos of one of our beautiful black Goldendoodles who left towards the end of 2003. Mr. Fones says that "Mitchell" has been a completely delightful addition to his family and that he absolutely LOVES the snow!!!! These pictures say it all! The first pic looks like Mitchell is pleading to go outside and play! The second picture, he seems to be bewildered by it all.
The picture up above, Mitchell seems to say "LOOK DAD....I FOUND THIS GREAT BIG CHEW TOY!!!"....
Lastly, Mitchell has had his fun in the snow and is all cleaned up and ready for some indoor fun!
"Hey, Dad.....CAN WE GO BACK OUT INTO THE SNOW?????" Mitchell has turned into quite a handsome guy! Still thick and fuzzy and of course, has retained that loveable temperament! We promised a "plug and play" puppy.........our doodles are great...what can we say???

December, 2004 brought us some very nice Christmas cards from our Doodle families!
Eleanor (From Florida) sent us this xmas message and a beautiful picture of her lovely Goldendoodle..."Shirley's Goldenchance".
Eleanor,
Thank you so much for this beautiful Christmas card and photo of Shirley!! My how she has grown and what a gorgeous girl!!! To think she was passed up as a puppy by a couple of customers who cancelled their order in mid-stream!!! I am very glad you were able to obtain her and are keeping in contact with us so we can watch her grow! Shirley is the offspring of Sadie...one of our very sweet Golden Retrievers!
Shirley is also the sister to "GILDA" and we want to wish you a very, merry Christmas and wonderful 2005!!!

"I HEAR ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY........."
Happy Birthday, Daisy!!! On 2-8-05, Nancy writes:
Hi Dee,
Hope all is well and that your husband is doing better. Wanted to send you the latest pictures of Daisy as she approaches the big 1st birthday on Feb. 23rd, 2005.
She's 50 lbs. of pure joy!!!
These pictures are with my mom, who doesn't like dogs! However, she is madly in love with Daisy. Daisy is the first dog EVER IN 43 YEARS allowed in my parents house and as you can see, she's made her way on to the couch as well as in my moms' heart!!!
Take care,
Nancy & Daisy
Dear Nancy...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DAISY and thank you so much for sending us this update and the very nice photos!
MY WHAT A BEAUTIFUL BABY......Happy Birthday BUFFY! A most gorgeous creamy apricot Goldendoodle by Lake Ridge Kennel! On 2-25-05,
we received this email from Buffys' mom:
Hi Dee,
Just wanted to send you some more pictures of Buffy. I sent you two pictures when she was six months old (see down below)...well, she is now 1 year old as of Feb. 4, 2005. She weighs 44 lbs; She is so lovable and we just love her to death!!! Everyone always ask what kind of dog is she because she is so friendly. She has yet to meet a stranger. Her mother is your lovely Mystee and her father is Duke. I just wanted to update you on her first birthday.
Of course we think she is just beautiful.
Doug and Paige of North Carolina
Hi Paige! Thank you so much for sending us these lovely photos.....I have to try and find the picture and make a copy of it when you first left here with Buffy at the little age of 8 weeks. She has grown so much and what a gorgeous girl she has become! I also noticed she has lightened up quite a bit from her darker apricot. Happy Birthday Buffy! Mystee has new doodle puppies who will resemble Buffy quite a bit....but the sire is Autumn this time. We try and rotate our males with our girls so that we can see for ourselves whether there is a real difference which parents we place together. So, let Buffy know she has a few half sisters and brothers!!! One of her half sisters left today for Virginia and weighed a mere 2 1/4 pounds! I believe she just might be a 25-30 lb girl!
Thanks so much again for the photos. I look forward in seeing more pictures as Buffy grows and matures.
Mr. Pope sent us these lovely photos of Grace.....she is out of Lilly & Pierre's litter and is a beautiful Apricot. Gracie was born on 1-10-05. Mr. Pope says in his email on 3-11-05:
Hi Dee,
Here are some pictures of Gracie. She is everything and more than we could have ever expected. She is playful, smart, loving and gets along beautifully with our kids and other pets.
Thank you so much for everything.
W. Pope
Dear Mr. Pope,
Thank you so much for sending pictures of Gracie. She is an absolute doll! I am glad that your kids are having a great time with her and we hear over and over how smart, sweet and wonderful our Goldendoodles are. It's just nice to always hear it!!! We look forward in seeing more of her as she grows and please stay in contact ! Dee
A. Okel and her father arrived at our home to personally pick up her new bundle of joy. We have yet to know what her name is...but look forward in seeing photos in the near future. This little lass is out of Rosie and Orlando's litter and was born on 1-1-05. Being a light apricot, she will be one of our small Goldendoodles and we look forward in knowing her size when she turns 1 year old.
Little baby Okel did her little business on both ends for her new mommy....which makes for a much better ride back home! Our puppies are newspaper trained from the age of four weeks..............we are very pleased when they immediately take to the grass when duty calls.
Little baby Cohen.....a gorgeous cream Goldendoodle out of Rosie and Orlando's litter....born on 1-1-05.....was picked up on March 10th, 2005.
She is out of one of our litters who will be a small doodle as an adult. We look forward in seeing what size she turns out to be when she grows up.
S. Cohen personally picked up her little girl. Little baby Cohen will have a very large playmate when she arrives at her new home.....but we hope she does not become a snack!
Mike F. sent us this very nice photo of his beautiful Goldendoodle on March 22nd, 2005... Haley, who left for New York mid March, 2005 and is the daughter of Lilly and Pierre. Weighing 13 pounds at 9 weeks of age, she will be a very nice large girl as an adult with a super long, shaggy and very fluffy coat.
We look forward in more pictures as she grows and Thank Mike very much for this lovey photo!
You both look soooo very happy!!!
Dee
On March 27, 2005 R.S. sent us photos of Brandy.....a very pretty, apricot LRK Goldendoodle female. R.S. writes:
"Hi Dee!
Hope all is well with you. Is your husband back on his feet? Brandy turned turned 6 months old this week.
She's lively, happy, fun and has a great mild temperament. She's keeping us on our toes! Brandy is bigger than what you would have expected from Ariel and Pierre.....her coat is a bit on the curly side. Take care...
R.S.
Thank you for keeping in touch and for sending us wonderful photos! Brandy, at this age, is showing the typical coat type we often see. It appears to be short and curly, but really this is just a phase. Our doodles who will have a very thick, shaggy and long coat always appear to be curly at this age. Her size is about average for us...regardless of parents. I expect her to get about 45 pounds if she is now 32 pounds at this age. Our doodles are always lively...happy go lucky sorts who expect nothing but attention since that is all they get while here. Comical, they can test their waters....but with proper training, they are the best you could ever expect in a dog. Thanks again for keeping in touch and we are glad she continues to do well.
Dee
The first of Juel's 2005 Goldendoodle litter left for her new home today... May 7th, 2005. Baby Albrecht left for her new home with her proud new mommie and daddy. We look forward in seeing new updated photos as she grows.
